Show Up for Yourself 1st!

Greetings! I know it has been a while! The very reason I am here today is because my lack of consistency and inability to show up for myself 1st, has brought me full circle! Where have I been since 2019, when I abandoned my blog, you ask? So I have been out in the world learning a new skill set(FOREX), taking a variety of classes(Astrology, Castrology, & High Priestess) and also networking. I studied hard and long, went here and there, got obsessed with the past and future and then realized that in all that, none of those areas were where my major downfall resided. My area of deficiency is and always was my consistency. Showing up for myself, on the same level as to how I show up for others is the main area to where my focus needs my direct attention and I mean like yesterday! I had developed this thing over the years, where I give a whole lot of time and energy to people and their projects, that are not in the least bit appreciative of my efforts. Only to look around after my long periods of comfort in those things, at my own stuff, that has dust on it, in disappointment and desperation. Now I am not here to throw a self pity party, but I am here to inspire and encourage you to show up for yourself 1st! Below is a list of things you can do daily to build up your consistency. Join me in these practical ways to evolve and uplift yourself!
Set your alarm daily! Early enough to wake up and meditate before you shower. Meditation can be beneficial if you do it before you start your day. Also use this time to journal and even pull your tarot cards, to look ahead on your day.
Make sure to move your body! Start you a workout routine! This gets the blood moving and also assists your body with removing waste.Working out helps to release stress from the body and release endorphins. it has also helped me greatly with mood swings.
Use your shower as a second meditation! After you work out, visualize all of your worries and/or doubt washing down the drain. There is nothing like starting your day with a free and clear mind and body.
Make sure to fix you a delightful cup of tea/mushroom coffee! I love me a good cup of either. It truly brings joy to my soul!As I sip, I am thinking about all the things that I am grateful for in my life. Gratitude is key!
Be kind to yourself throughout your day! Make sure to breathe deeply when you get frustrated. Give yourself some grace. Be sure to check the negative thoughts and/or self talk. You are in fact a divine being. If you get tired, take a nap. Studies show that a 30 minute nap improves brain function and decreases anxiety. Set aside at least 5 minutes to do affirmations/self talk in the mirror before ending your day.
